Meet the team behind Ebury Trade Finance

Ebury Trade Finance is designed to allow SMEs to access the international market place and facilitate their trade both domestically and overseas. Ebury can offer credit terms of up to £1,000,000 for up to 120 days to improve working capital and minimise the chance of stockouts. To operate this facility, Ebury has built a dedicated team of experts who are responsible for the whole process, from working with our credit insurer and compliance to processing payments and managing the client accounts.

Ebury Trade Finance has combined experience of over 30 years with varied positions across FX, private equity, investment, trade commissions, tax and law. This has allowed the team to gain substantial insight into international trade and the process and regulations that this involves. They are able to guide Ebury’s clients through the process, demystifying the often complex nature of overseas trade and exploring how Trade Finance can address their needs.

The Ebury Trade Finance team is headed up by Roman Itskovich, VP Financial Products, who joined Ebury in 2014 from Bain Capital where he was part of the private equity deal team. Prior to this he held positions at Foundation Capital VC, co-founded an SME software start-up, and was a consultant at Mckinsey & Company. Roman holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Economics & Accounting from Tel Aviv University.
